A man was fatally struck in a gang-related shooting in Long Beach early Monday morning, according to the Long Beach Police Department (LBPD).
Officers responded to the shooting at 12:35AM on Monday, October 19, on the 2000 block of Magnolia Avenue in the city’s South Wrigley neighborhood.
Upon arrival, police discovered 25-year-old William Tyshoen Davis struck in the torso by gunfire, officials stated.
Paramedics transported Davis in critical condition to the hospital, where he later died of his injuries.
Police do not know the motive for the shooting but are investigating the incident as possibly gang-related, officials said.
