Gunshots were reported in the area of Pacific Coast Highway and Lime Avenue on Tuesday night, but no one was struck, police said.

Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) officers were dispatched to the area at about 6:55PM regarding reports of someone in a black vehicle firing a gun into the air, said LBPD spokeswoman Megan Zabel.

When officers arrived, the vehicle was no longer in the area. No one has reported being hit by gunfire in the incident, Zabel said.

The suspect is still at large, and no further information is currently available. We will update this story as we learn more.
