The Aquarium of the Pacific will hold its annual Ocean Conservation Awards Gala this weekend, honoring those who have taken proactive roles in protecting the environment, with proceeds benefiting the aquarium’s education, environmental and conservation programs.  The Leonardo DiCapro Fund, Google Ocean and Panasonic Corporation will be recognized for their contributions, and guests will be treated to dinner and a special Google Ocean presentation on Panasonic’ new 103-inch 3-D plasma screen.  Visit aquariumofpacific.org for more information about this Saturday’s event.
