The Aquarium of the Pacific is ringing in the  holiday season with specially discounted rates from December 26 until January 2, making it easier for you to visit your favorite animals.

Hours are being extended until 9:00pm every night, and tickets will be discounted down to $11.95 after 5:00pm (normal adult tickets run $24.95). Lorikeet Forest is closed, but the rest of the exhibits are wide open. It’s your best chance of the year to see new faces like Ollie the otter, hear the distinct playful barks of sea lions or – my personal favorite – pet the stingrays.

Tickets can be purchased at the aquarium after 5:00pm or online here anytime.

The aquarium is also gearing up for its annual New Year’s Eve sleepover which comes with exclusive animal feeding and interaction, sparkling cider and snacks and a great view of the Queen Mary fireworks.
