9:30am |<\/strong> Fingerprints is one of the most well known independent record shops in Long Beach and from time to time they do much more than just sell it, they bring it to the people.<\/p>\n

Indie-soul group Fitz & The Tantrums rocked to a select crowd on Tuesday night, as the record shop cleared out a few aisles of CD’s to make room for a stage and about 80 guests. It was the band’s first ever show in Long Beach and they repeatedly said how excited they were to play here. Fitz & The Tantrums new album, Picking Up The Pieces<\/em>, was released a few weeks ago and the band stuck around after the show to sign CD’s and posters.<\/p>\n

We found out about the show through Fingerprints’ announcements on their Twitter page<\/a>, but there is also an e-mail list that alerts you to upcoming shows and special in-store deals.<\/p>\n
