But this year I wanted to introduce you to a twist on the ol\u2019 sip of champagne with something a little more refined.<\/p>\n<p>So refined, in fact, it\u2019s been dubbed \u201cThe\u00a0Champagne Cocktail.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re a fan of Old Fashioned cocktails (like I am) remembering this three-ingredient recipe will be a cinch.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll need:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 sugar cube<\/li>\n<li>2-3 dashes of Angostura bitters<\/li>\n<li>6 oz (one glass flute full) of champagne.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All you&#8217;ve got to do is drop the sugar cube into your glass, preferably a champagne flute. Then douse that sugar cube with 2-3 dashes of bitters\u2014maybe more if you really enjoy that flavor.<\/p>\n<p>Then, pop open the champagne and fill the glass to the rim.
