He was wearing nothing but a collar\u2014no ID, nothing. He had trouble walking and looked as if he&#8217;d just been injured.<\/p>\n<p>The shelter staff found no chip either\u2014no surprise. They thought that he&#8217;d been hit by a car and noted multiple pelvic fractures.<\/p>\n<p>After a trip to the animal hospital for surgery, it turned out that theses fractures were old! What kind of people owned this poor fellow? He was, of course, unaltered, and the vet took care of that as well.<\/p>\n<p>He really, really needs to get out and find a foster or a rescue. Can you help? His name is Tiny Tim, in the spirit of the holiday, and may Dog bless us all if he can find a safe harbor. This increases the cats and dogs&#8217; chances of being adopted! The simplest toys can make the animals much more comfortable! Cats enjoy rolling toys such as small plastic balls or other batting toys that can be hung from cage doors, while dogs tend to prefer items like the heavy-duty Kong rubber chew toy. And there are lots of other items that shelters and rescues can use! See locations of drop boxes, wish lists and delivery instructions <em>here<\/em>.
