Those who could benefit from some free provisions for their pantry can find support this weekend with these two local food drives.<\/p>\n

HELP ME, HELP YOU PANTRY PICK UP<\/h4>\n

Community non-profit Help Me, Help You has partnered with Revive Church, The Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA) and Councilwoman Jeannine Pearce to offer a weekly food drive for those who could use it. While the drive prioritizes low-income families and those experiencing homelessness, the drive encourages anyone in need to stop by.<\/p>\n

This Friday, Nov. 20, locals can visit Revive Church at 668 Obispo Ave. from 1 to 2:30 p.m. and choose from a selection of canned goods and non-perishables.<\/p>\n

If you’re unable to make it this Friday, you can also stop by MOLAA, at 628 Alamitos Ave. next Friday, Nov. 27 from 4 to 6 p.m.<\/p>\n

OPERATION GIVE AND MONTHLY FOOD GIVE-A-WAY DRIVE THRU<\/h4>\n

Light & Life West church in North Long Beach is hosting a food drive this Saturday, Nov. 21 inviting anyone in need to stop by. Locals can visit the church’s parking lot at 6465 Cherry Ave. as early as 11 a.m. and an attendant will come out to your car with groceries.<\/p>\n

Food will be given out on a first-come-first-served basis until supplies run out.<\/p>\n
