In the world of family spaces that allow kids to exhaust themselves with little supervision, this century has come in with some spectacular options: There’s Pump It Up in Torrance and Huntington Beach; giant warehouses of rooms filled with massive, inflatable, indestructible structures that kids can climb on, slide down, crawl through and conveniently knock out at a decent hour post-celebration. Then there’s Kidztown in the close-but-not-really-Long Beach city of Lakewood where, like Pump It Up, kids are able to explore various jungle gyms, ball pits, and other have-fun-and-be-safe spaces.<\/p>\n
But when it comes to Long Beach proper, the city is relatively bare.<\/p>\n
Enter Jumper’s Jungle<\/a>, taking over the space at 3841 Atlantic Ave. in Bixby Knolls.<\/p>\n Set to a zootopia-slash-wilderness theme of inflatable jumpy houses, this marks the brand’s second location. Their first is in South Gate, where it has harnessed a cult-like following of parents happy to no longer have to trek across Firestone or Florence Boulevards in search of a space where their kids can let loose. It has since grown to Gardena, Las Vegas, Santa Fe Springs and more.<\/p>\n The process? Quite simple. Decide if you want to save money\u2014that means having a shared party where another cohort of little ones will be sharing the jumping spaces with you\u2014or if you’re gonna be bougie and want the space to yourself\u2014that means getting a VIP package where the entirety of the space is yours and yours alone.<\/p>\n From there, you decide the time frame, where you want your food from (Jumper’s Jungle can provide the food and cake or you can bring your own from another licensed restaurant), and invitations.
