On July 29, Beyonce released her long-awaited album “Renaissance Act 1,” a 16-song album that came six years after the release of her two-time Grammy Award-winning album “Lemonade.”
Given the success of the first single “Break My Soul,” it’s no wonder “Renaissance” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts, making it the highest debut by a woman in 2022.
Still, fans wanted more. Thanks to Beyonce’s Record label, Parkwood Entertainment, fans can stimulate their Queen B visual appetite with the Deluxe Vinyl Collectors Edition.
The collector’s edition album includes a premium hard case slipcase package, two printed jackets, two printed sleeves, a 36-page photo booklet featuring stunning pictures and a collectible poster.

The collector’s edition officially goes on sale Friday, Oct. 6, but several Black-owned independent retailers received the vinyl album a week early. One of those retailers is the legendary VIP Records here in Long Beach.
VIP Records owner Kelvin Anderson said 25 Black and independently-owned record stores throughout the country that are members of the “Fam Coalition” were selected to receive and sell the deluxe vinyl album a week before the official release dates. “It takes me back to the good ‘ol days,” said Anderson.
He says VIP was always a part of major album releases, promotions and marketing. As a veteran in the record business, he also gives the album his stamp of approval. “It’s more upbeat than I thought it would be but it’s great!”
Anderson is also impressed with the visuals included with the album, saying it is a “must have” for all Beyonce fans.
You can pick up the deluxe vinyl of “Renaissance” at VIP records located at 1028 E. Pacific Coast Highway from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. , seven days a week.
