Women’s Conference organizer and California First Lady Maria Shriver addresses a packed crowd at the Long Beach Arena on Tuesday.

10:00am | A jam-packed lineup of political figures, stars and celebrities gathered over the last few days for the Women’s Conference in downtown Long Beach. The main event took place yesterday and featured speakers such as First lady Michelle Obama, and discussions with California Gubernatorial candidates Meg Whitman (R) and Jerry Brown (D), while ABC News anchor Diane Sawyer hosted a conversation with Supreme Court Justices Sandra Day O’Connor and Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Photographer Daniel DeBoom was on hand yesterday to capture some of the star-studded events, as well as the March On Alzheimer’s that took place around Shoreline Village on Sunday evening and featured Mayor Bob Foster, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and a who’s-who of actors and TV personalities. Photos courtesy of the Women’s Conference are also included and noted.

The conference may be over, but you can still catch video from some of the events at the event website, womensconference.org, and relive the entire experience.
