After the debacle that was the Downtown Farmers Market versus City Place—which was thankfully solved by having the market move to Pacific and 3rd every Friday—downtowners can rejoice in the fact that their farmers market access has just expanded by way of the Downtown Greener Goods Farmers Market.

Screen Shot 2014-05-28 at 1.29.11 PMHaving already established a successful Greener Goods in North Long Beach on Fridays, Molina Healthcare has sponsored a new version that will come to Downtown every Tuesday, every year from April to October.

The new downtown market will be located right on Ocean Blvd. in the East Plaza of Molina Center, directly across from the World Trade Center. Highlights include Trimana Cafe offering full dishes for those seeking a healthy lunch refuge while vegans will delight in a space dedicated entirely to vegan pastries. And of course, let’s not forget the hummus, breads, fruits, veggies, hair and body products, and everything in between.

Thank (greener) goodness for local, healthy food.

The Green Good Farmers Market in downtown runs every Tuesday, from 9AM to 2PM, at 706 E Ocean.
