The Long Beach Musician’s League, a loose conglomerate of local talent organized by Ken Huntington, encourages artists to stretch out, try new things, and experiment in a low-key supportive environment.  The Puka Bar, located on Willow near the 710 freeway, provides a no-cover performance space.

This last Monday, the LBML featured Pradon, fronted by singer/songwriter Michael Pradon.  Here are some photos from the performance:

Next Monday, February 18th, the LBML is presenting an evening of experimental and eclectic music featuring Ain Soph Aur, The Lap Steel Duo, Aaron Archambault, Sumako, and Lili de la Mora.  The show starts promptly at 8 PM and ends at 11.  Again, this is a free 21+ show.

The Puka Bar is located at 710 W Willow Street on the South side, between Oregon and Maine.  Call 562-997-6896 for more information.
