Say hello to our little friend. File photo

It is now Day 10 of the LB Post Treasure Hunt, and we’re gonna be honest: We’re beat. It’s been a long, long journey, riding a horse for the very first time, wrestling with pit bull dobermans (we didn’t know they even made dobermans anymore, but we have tattered jeans to prove it) as we’ve wandered through strangers’ yards digging up their flowerbeds looking for treasure (despite our own warnings to not mess with shovels), and spending so much time wandering suspiciously around various parks that we’re practically viral on Nextdoor.

Have there been snags? Yes. We’ve had to change the ending day to Friday instead of Saturday. We blame our attorneys for dragging their feet. We knew it was a mistake to pay them hourly. But, we’re grateful that they gave us an out by including the term “closure” in their terms and conditions.

Now, we rest a bit and we urge you to do the same. Today is a good day to reflect on your life so far. Us? We’re fairly satisfied that we haven’t squandered a moment on this planet, but, sure, we have some regrets. Like, we wish that when we Googled “RLS” yesterday, we would have added some other term, like “RLS” and “treasure.” How much richer our life would be now! Don’t make the same mistake we made. Google “RLS and treasure.” Some of you wise guys who are already ahead of us on this one can just take the day off and do nothing.
