As a big fan of penguins, I enjoy visiting the Aquarium whenever I can, but when you bring penguins, savory eats, sweet treats, and an open bar together, well, then I am definitely in. This Saturday, October 13th, you can have all of these things and more. This will be the ninth annual Sea Fare that The Aquarium of the Pacific has hosted. If you would like to join in on this great time, you can purchase your tickets here.

The cost of a ticket is $100 (includes an open bar, food samples donated by food and beverage providers, and Aquarium admission), and all proceeds will benefit the nonprofit Aquarium’s numerous education, ocean conservation, and animal care programs.

I have been to the event in the past years, and I’m sure it will be just as fantastic this year. One of my favorite parts is being able to walk around the aquarium at night. Not only was the food delicious, but the live auction was a great time. To name a few of the items that you will be able to bid on: Viking River cruises, a week at a Tuscan farmhouse, and (one that I will definitely be raising my marker for) an 8-bottle wine sampling.

If you are curious what you will be able to munch on, there’s no need to worry. Many restaurants will be there, including Primal Alchemy Catering, The Sky Room, King’s Fish House and Slapfish. Looking forward to sampling what all the eateries have to offer, there will be about 30 to choose from when it comes to food and beverage providers.

Sea you there!
