A Smallish Green Moon by Noel Madrid.
Everybody loves a good brunch. Most people like art and even more like the ocean. So swing by the “Artists of Hotel Maya” art show and Sunday brunch on June 7 from 11:00AM to 2:00PM to start your summer off right with a dose of live Latin American music, plenty of ocean breezes on the Fuego patio, and a look at some locally famous and internationally renowned artists’ work.
“The Artists of Hotel Maya” art show will feature display stations of art for sale throughout the grounds, as well as live painting demonstrations in Fuego’s private tequila tasting room and outdoors at Luna Solstice, adjacent to the hotel lobby. Visitors can watch artists demonstrate their painting abilities on oversized communal canvases at each location.
“With a nice summer breeze wafting through the property, guests will enjoy great weather and a unique art experience while having brunch, sipping mimosas or simply strolling the grounds from one artist station to another,” said Kristi Allen, vice president of hotel operations at Hotel Maya, in a statement.
“‘The ‘Artists of Hotel Maya’ art show is very popular in Long Beach and a must-attend quarterly event in Fuego,” she said.
Guest artists Leah Dixon, Rebecca Fries, Dave Van Patten, Michael Stearns, Tom Sky and Kevin Andrew Teel will join internationally acclaimed Southern California Latin artists featured in the ‘The Artists of Hotel Maya’ exhibit including Steven Amado, Jonathan Bueno, Ivan D’Avy, Paul Dominguez, Noel Madrid and Jennifer Tenace.
